The pandemic hit hard on all of us. Apart from the physical, digital and social impact the financial
impact was quite significant. To alleviate some of these strains Yetunde collaborated with Gregg’s in Wheatley Park and Lakeside village in Doncaster to donate their after-sales food to people in the community. Some of the people that benefitted were homeless and some lived in hostels. For
several weeks Yetunde would take the food to the doorsteps of people that needs it. Sandwiches
and savouries that would have been thrown away were consumed, reducing food wastage and
burden on the environment.
